Gratitude and Meditation: A Recipe for Joy and Success 

When the holidays are upon us in the midst of a two-year pandemic, it can feel like pressure is coming in from every side. Finding gratitude and peace through meditation allows us to experience the season as it's meant to be – one of joy. Gratitude and meditation have been shown to result in a stronger immune system, better sleep, positive mood, alertness, optimism, compassion and higher creativity and focus. In this 3-part course, you will learn a simple method of meditation coupled with a practical tool to increase gratitude and make both a part of your daily routine. Coming out of this course, you will feel great about taking care of your innermost self and building a foundation to create stronger relationships and become more successful overall.

Speaker Bios

Lavina Sethi:  Lavina Sethi began her spiritual journey when her parents introduced her to meditation when she was just six years old. She grew up in Dubai and moved to Chicago over 6 years ago to pursue her MBA. Today, she lives in the Naperville area with her husband and young daughter. She works at a transportation technology firm and deeply enjoys meditating. Lavina has found that it has brought a lot of peace and calm in her life over the years, and she is now sharing workshops on the benefits and technique of meditation.

Raj Sethi: Raj has been practicing meditation for much of his life. As a Project Management Consultant and Entrepreneur, he believes meditation is important to help balance the day to day activities and pressures of life. Raj enjoys giving meditation workshops in downtown Chicago and virtually. He lives with his wife and young daughter in the greater Chicago area.

Jim Rose: Jim Rose, M Ed., Rutgers University, is a retired executive of Johnson & Johnson a multi-national corporation. He has 35 years of experience in Human Resources management, employee development and conflict resolution.  Jim currently provides workshops and training to groups throughout the world where he connects meditation and spiritual development to important aspects of our lives. He has been meditating for over 40 years.
